Accounting Department

Ensure financial accuracy and stability. The Accounting team plays a crucial role in managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and maintaining smooth financial operations.

Controller / Senior Accountant (Nicaragua Division - Remote/Granada)


Easy Solutions is growing fast across multiple divisions — real estate, construction, development, and business services. We're looking for a high-level Accounting & Finance professional to become the "eyes and control center" of our financial operations.

This is not a basic bookkeeping role. This is a leadership seat for someone who can step in with strong expertise, high integrity, and immediate impact.

Who We Need
We need a subject-matter expert in accounting — someone with CPA-level experience or equivalent background — who can fully own and tighten our financial systems, reporting, and cost controls across all departments.

You will work directly with executive leadership and our existing accounting/admin staff to enforce accuracy, improve profitability visibility, control expenses, and protect the company from financial leakage.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Own and maintain clean, accurate bookkeeping and financial records in QuickBooks Online.
    • Structure and manage Chart of Accounts across multiple entities and divisions
    • Track and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow
    • Review every expense and enforce receipt/compliance procedures across teams
    • Deliver monthly closing on time with full financial statements
    • Create P&L reports by office, division, department, and project
    • Build job-costing and budget variance reporting per home, subdivision, and phase
    • Identify cost risks, overspending trends, and opportunities to improve margins
    • Support income tax preparation with organized, audit-ready records
    • Help create financial performance models, including profitability per employee and per service line
  • What Success Looks Like
    Within your first 60–90 days, you will help us:
    • produce reliable monthly close packages without leadership chasing updates,
    • build strong expense controls with 100% receipt compliance,
    • provide clear job-cost visibility per home/project,
    • flag financial issues early with proactive solutions.
  • Qualifications
  • Required
    • CPA or advanced accounting expertise (or equivalent senior experience).
    • 5+ years in senior accounting / finance roles
    • Strong QuickBooks Online mastery
    • Proven experience with multi-entity reporting
    • Strong cash flow analysis and P&L modeling
    • High attention to detail and ability to enforce controls
    • Trustworthy, proactive, and able to work independently
    Preferred
    • Construction/real estate job-cost accounting experience
    • Experience managing or mentoring bookkeeping/admin teams
    • Bilingual English/Spanish
